The Opportunity
A major water engineering consultancy is growing its flood risk team and looking for a Senior Flood Risk Engineer to lead delivery across a broad range of flood alleviation, drainage and SuDS projects. Positions are available in Manchester, Leeds and London with flexible hybrid working.
The Role
- Lead technical delivery across flood alleviation, surface water management and SuDS schemes ranging from £10k to £100m
- Prepare flood risk assessments, drainage strategies and outline designs
- Manage project programmes, client relationships and budgets
- Support planning applications with flood risk and drainage evidence
- Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development
About You
- Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related discipline
- Experience delivering flood risk assessments and drainage design in a consultancy setting
- Working knowledge of NPPF, CIRIA SuDS Manual and relevant Environment Agency guidance
- ICE or CIWEM chartership preferred or in progress
